Tea Tree - Aromaland Essential Oil Aromatherapy

Originating from Australia, Tea Tree essential oil is medicinal in it's nature. It has a very strong spicy scent with various healing properties.

Latin Name: Melaleuca alternifolia

Description: Very strong and medicinal smelling. Spicy-camphorous, warm scent. For many people who have experienced the benefits of Tea Tree Oil, this scent has become equivalent to the 'scent of healing'.

Extracted From: Leaves

Color: Clear to slightly pale yellow/green

Perfumery Note: Top/Middle

Consistency: Thin, water-like liquid.

Aromatherapy Properties: Medicinal, stimulating, purifying.

Suggested Use: Add 5-10 drops to 1oz. of unscented body or hair care product to enhance their effectiveness. Add 2-3 drops to a bowl of hot water for a purifying steam treatment. Blends Well With: Lavender. Essential Oils of spices, like Clove, Nutmeg etc., citrus oils, Rosemary, Geranium, Marjoram and Clary Sage.

History: Australian Aborigines have used Tea Tree and related plants since the beginning of time. They welcomed and saved the crew of Sir Francis from scurvy and exhaustion with a tea brewed from its leaves - hence the name.
